crudo is dead.

Due to a variety of factors, this blog is over, and so am I.

I'm out of the (A) game. I have a lot coming at me, from a family tragedy, to money issues, and a lack of time to devote to revolutionary projects.

Furthermore, I feel more and more alienated from the anarchist scene, especially the flourishing subculture of insurrectionalism.

I wish everyone the best of luck as I will have to begin a grand project indeed, carrying on with my life.

If you enjoyed the magazine, I'm glad you did. If you enjoyed what I had to say, thank you. If you read and got something out of this blog, here's to you.

Perhaps if you are lucky, you will find the last Vengeance somewhere. But, no promises.

crudo is dead.

  2. You are too old to quit. Personal tragedy has only strengthened my resolve while my contempt for scenes frees me from putting time into a tired discourse with people that don't matter unless I want them to.

  3. ya know dude, this isnt a bad thing. the fact is that the "anarchist scene" offers nothing, and its about fucking time it is given up on. while you may end your "revolutionary project" you must understand that simply by dint of being anarchists our lives are our own revolutionary projects.

i will talk to you soon, my friend.

    insurrectionalism is stupid anyway.

  4. destroy the character: hero or celebrity

the project must be generalized not the personality

  5. Crudo, it's sad that you are ending the project. While I had some critique for it, Vengeance had really inspired me and brought me a genuine pro-revolutionary perspective.

Thanks for all the great work.

  7. R.I.P my friend. Only a true anarchist can kill anarchism.

P.S FUck that east coast canada bullshit. That is the biggest cop-calling scene-hole in the continent. If I could I would toss a bag of shit at every one of you halifax anarchist assholes.

  11. Although we've never met & I stumbled upon a copy of vengeance. I have always enjoyed your analysis and critiques. I have made reprints of vengeance and handed them our to friends & comrades. They all enjoyed the humor, observations., and commentary. I'm sure you've put a lot of time & energy into several projects other than thus one. Let it go noted that you made an impact on people you've never met & it was a positive one. I wish you the best. I hope things work out & you find the space & time you need to fill you're cup.
    In solidarity,

  15. I don't think i ever met you personally, but I totally understand this because I am going through similar problems. That's probably why Vengeance and MA struck a chord with me on some level. But I started doubting the whole "consciousness raising" stuff I was doing, and wondering why I was always too low on cash to really survive. But it's more about having comrades no matter how much action you are committed to.

But just to let you know you had a lot of fans everywhere.

    Here's to you
